Actress, presenter, singer, radio host, talent show judge, fashion designer and author; Amanda Holden has been lucky enough to have been working for over 30 years in the entertainment business.

With a career spanning three decades Amanda has sat on the judging panel of the multiple BAFTA winning ‘Britain's Got Talent’ (ITV1) for the last 15 years alongside Simon Cowell. Every weekday morning she hosts the biggest commercial radio show ‘Heart Breakfast’ alongside Jamie Theakston. She also stars in ‘I Can See Your Voice’ for BBC 1.

Amanda’s Top 5 album ‘Songs From The Heart’ was the biggest-selling female debut album of 2020 with the single ‘Over The Rainbow’ (in aid of NHS Charities Together) reaching #1 on iTunes and #2 on The Official Big 40 Chart.

Amanda has starred in many dramas and comedies over the years including ‘Kiss Me Kate’, ‘The Grimleys’, ‘Hearts and Bones’, ‘Miss Marple’, ‘Big Top’, ‘Goodness Gracious Me’, BAFTA award winning ‘Cutting It’, ‘Wild At Heart’, ‘Worst Witch’, ‘Plebs’ and most recently ‘Mandy and Myrtle’.

Amanda has hosted numerous TV shows including ‘This Morning’, ‘Greasemania’, ‘The Millie’s’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Give a Pet a Home’, ‘League Of Their Own’, ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and ‘Dispatches’ for ITV. Later this summer Amanda and Alan Carr will be filming a brand-new reality series they devised for BBC 1.

Amanda originated the role of Millie and was nominated the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in the musical ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’. She starred in the original cast of ‘Shrek The Musical’ as Princess Fiona in the West End. She appeared at the London Palladium as Fairy Godmother and also starred in, and executive produced, a sold-out regional and west end production of the play ‘Stepping Out’.

As well as being established on TV and in theatre, Amanda’s first autobiography ‘No Holding Back’ became a Sunday Times Bestseller.

In 2021 Amanda was thrilled to be presented with an Honorary Doctor of Letters from Mountview Theatre School in London for her contribution to the arts, the drama school she proudly graduated from in 1992.
