The PROPS awards 2022 shortlist announced
Variety has revealed the shortlist of nominees for the 30th PROPS awards, the UK's longest-standing property awards, which will take place on Tuesday, 10 May 2022, at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
As one of the real estate industry’s key fundraising events, PROPS helps to raise funds to purchase wheelchairs for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK. Since its inception in 1992, the PROPS, dedicated to the UK’s property industry, has raised over £10.5 million, funding 2,100 custom-built wheelchairs and other essential items for children and young people all around the UK.
The most coveted of all the awards is the Lifetime Achievement Award, and this year the honour will go to Ray Palmer, Chairman of Fiera Real Estate. Ray will be awarded in recognition of his significant impact on the British property industry over the past five decades!
Ray, commented: “I am honoured to be recognised with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 PROPS awards and I am looking forward to celebrating this moment on the 10th of May at the award ceremony. I am humbled to receive this honour and to be in the company of such an illustrious group of British property icons!"
Ray joins a renowned list of previous PROPS Lifetime Award recipients including Sir Stuart Lipton, Michael Slade, Tony Pidgley CBE, Irvine Sellar, David Lockhart, David Pearl, Paul White, and Chris Lazari.
The awards cover a variety of categories including Deal of the Year, Property Lender of the Year, Development of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and The Most Promising Newcomer of the Year.
