Description
A single 6 litre imperial bottle, in a wooden case, of Chateau Senejac 2016. The bottle Chateau Senejac is one of the better-known Cru Bourgeois estates in the Haut Medoc. A 150-hectare estate, owned by the Cordier Family and planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The vines have an average age of 35 years, and a new drainage system was installed in 1983. The grapes are handpicked during harvest and the vinification process is under the control of Alfred Tesseron from Pontet Canet. 2016 is widely considered to be excellent vintage in Bordeaux. The bottle has been cellared privately and the wine will continue to benefit from further aging. Neal Martin scores this wine 91-93/100.
