Who are the sessions for?
Anyone who works in an education setting is welcome to attend – including teachers and headteachers, designated safeguarding leads, governors, trustees and human resources staff.

These sessions are a chance to hear from the NSPCC’s experts on safeguarding in education.
Johanna Hughes
Senior Safeguarding Trainer, NSPCC
Johanna was Head of Safeguarding for a large multi-academy trust where she provided strategic safeguarding direction to schools. Johanna has also worked as Head of Early Years in a children’s centre, and Regulatory Inspector for Ofsted.
Chloe Meaney
HR Safeguarding Consultant, NSPCC
Chloe’s background is in recruitment, resourcing, case management and criminal investigations. She’s worked with sectors including schools, sport, health, government and criminal justice. Chloe specialises in safer recruitment, risk assessment and values-based training.
