Take home this incredible original piece of art 'Twilight Cruise Two' by Michael Minas, beautifully mounted and framed. The initial inspiration for the artwork collection came after Michael created a series of charcoal set design drawings for Blur, E17, Granberries, H Block, Simply Red and David Bowie whilst they were appearing on the MTV Awards in Paris 1995. Many years later, while experiementing in colour, he came across these drawings and developed them further using pigment on wet paper. 'Twilight Cruise' was donated to Make-A-Wish last year and we're delighted to auction 'Twilight Cruise Two' today. Michael is an artist who is absorbed by the perceptible objective world and uses his acute skill as an observer to experiment, reflect and invent in his works of art. That famous phrase in art of taking a line for a walk is mutated in Michael Minas' art to taking colour for a walk, making a multilayered image which reflects and refracts light, and yet remains substantial and solid: physics made visible.
