Harvard aerobatic flight
Description
Take to the skies above Cambridgeshire for a 30 minute, aerobatic flight in a 1943 Harvard IIB from the historic Duxford Airfield, home to the Imperial War Museum.
The Harvard was the primary training aircraft for a large number of Air Forces across the world and was used operationally until the 1970s. However, it is best known as the trainer used as a stepping stone into the warbirds of World War II.
The lucky winner will enjoy a 30 minute aerobatic experience flight in Harvard FE695 with pilot Isabel Rutland, the 2023 sports national aerobatic champion. Isabel displays the Harvard in a solo aerobatic routine and is also an experienced warbird and P51 pilot so this is sure to be an unforgettable flight!
Please note:
- Weight and mobility restrictions will apply. Minimum age 18 years, max weight 120kgs
- The flight will be on a date mutually agreeable by all and before the end of November 2024
- This flight will be operated as a 'charity flight' by a private pilot and is subject to the following guidance
