The Genius Of Miles Davis (Deluxe Limited Edition 2010 US 43-CD box set), originally a Direct to Consumer exclusive, housed in a jawdropping reproduction of Miles' own trumpet case with leather effect, three carrying handles, metal hinges, front plaque & a finely illustrated blue velvet finish on the inside. This ludicrously lavish package comes complete with a replica of Miles' custom-made 'Gustat' Heim model mouthpiece, a previously unseen fine art lithograph by Miles, a sealed boutique quality t-shirt, a custom booklet with certificate of authenticity & a blue velvet bag to house this bespoke objet d'art. The Eight CD box sets inside remain unused & this is one of only 1955 copies.

Artist Bio Miles Davis made music that grew from an uncanny talent to hear the future and a headstrong desire to play it. From his beginnings in the circle of modern jazz, he came to intuit new worlds of sound and challenge. While the vast majority of musicians – jazz, rock, R&B, otherwise – find the experimental charge and imperviousness of youth eventually running down, Miles forever forged ahead. In doing so, Miles became the standard bearer for successive generations of musicians, shaped the course of modern improvisational music more than a half-dozen times.
