Childline’s Merry Little Christmas Concert will return once more to the beautiful surroundings of Holy Trinity Church on Sloane Street to celebrate the festive season on Thursday 9th December. This year we are also delighted to be streaming Merry Little Christmas online, allowing our supporters to join the event from across the UK. The concert will feature readings and performances from well-known celebrities with previous concerts having featured Alison Steadman OBE, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex, Natalie Dormer, the BBC Young Choristers of the Year, and classical singers Margaret Keys and Carly Paoli. All funds raised go to Childline, a life-changing NSPCC service.

Last year was difficult for us all and we’ve seen our lives, and the lives of our children, change in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Between April 2020 and March 2021 Childline delivered over 200,000 counselling sessions. These sessions covered a wide range of topics including loneliness, fears of rising infections rates, and worries about going back to school. Now, as society opens back up, we know the impact of the pandemic isn’t over. With your help, we can keep fighting for every childhood every day. We want to answer every call, reach every child who needs us, and keep adapting to whatever challenges this year throws at us. We’re constantly inspired by the courage and resilience of children and young people.
