Shooting is facing an increasing amount of criticism in areas where it should be praised for its contribution to biodiversity and the environment. We hope to do just this by showing the public that shooting is sustainable, helps biodiversity net gains, and that game is actually one of the most environmentally friendly meats to eat.
The Trust is working hard to protect the sport and to use science to adjust people’s outlook. If less than 1% of the population shoot, then we have a big job ahead of us.
Please help to protect the sport that you love by supporting the impressive research performed by the Trust that helps to develop the science that underpins game and wildlife management, thus enhancing the British countryside and its wildlife for the public benefit and, perhaps more importantly, for future generations.
Gift Aid
If you ticked the box on sign up to add gift aid on your donation, any donations you make in the future or have made in the last four years will go to the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
By ticking the box you confirm you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) this is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year, You understand that it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You understand that the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you give. Please notify us if you change your name, address or tax status, or please contact us for more information on Gift Aid. Your name and address will be shared with Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as a legal requirement when processing the Gift Aid claim.
