The river Awe is a short river, with a Hydro dam at the top. The compensation flow ensures that, even in a drought, the river is fishable.
The winning bidder will enjoy 3 days fly fishing for 2 rods on the Muckairn beat. Last year's winner of this lot had a fish on the bank within half an hour! Waders are required. The normal run begins in April with summer salmon and grilse following from July. Sea-trout are present from July. The beat contains 6 named pools. Fishing is from left bank only. No ghillie or accommodation is provided but suggestions for accommodation can be provided upon request.
