A fantastic opportunity for 5 rods to fish the Fishponds beat of The Tay. Fishponds (www.fishpondsfishing.com ) is situated upstream of Scone Palace on the lower reaches of the River Tay. 
The beat is two miles in length, and it sits downstream of Benchil & Pitlochrie, and upstream of the Waulkmill and Almondmouth beats above the tide. The attraction of Fishponds on the River Tay, is that you never know if it’s going to be a 9lb fish or a 35lb belter that grabs hold. It’s a big river, a lot of water comes down it, and there’s always a chance to catch a really big fish.
