Description

Esther is a cheeky illustrator born in Paris and currently living in London. She graduated in 2016, receiving several awards for her final year film about a boy on a journey of self-discovery. Her love for the craft of animation inspires her to create characters that are full of life and emotional depth, as well as a strong sense of movement. Drawing has always been the way she expresses herself, and she believes that her images have the power to influence the world around her. She depicts a world where women, trans, non-binary, people of every race and sexuality can take up more space, and are free to exist without limitations. Her bubbly and quirky aesthetic is inspired by everyday life and the rich stories that can be found in all human interaction. Sex, love, food, first kisses, odd kinks and sly winks; Esther’s work hones in on the things that bind us all together, which is why her work reaches such a varied audience. She has attended the London Illustration Fair and exhibits with the collectif Cluster in London. In 2019 she also led a character design workshop in Hyper Island in Sweden. In her spare time, Esther loves to paint naked women, busting some moves, roller skating and drinking Punch.
