For the past ten years Andy Serkis has been a proud Ambassador for the fantastic charity, Best Beginnings. In celebration of Best Beginnings’ 15th Anniversary, we’ve launched a GoFundMe fundraising campaign. Every donation made there will help Best Beginnings support more parents of all backgrounds to have the knowledge and confidence to look after their own mental and physical health and to give their children the best start in life, with a focus on reducing inequalities.

We recorded this special Q&A with Andy Serkis and fellow Best Beginnings’ Ambassador, the brilliant Broadcaster and DJ, Neev Spencer. They discussed Venom, Tom Hardy, Peter Jackson, The Hobbit, King Kong, Best Beginnings, Planet of Apes and more. Everyone who joined us LIVE for our conversation donated £15 to the charity. During the Q&A Andy shared insights into his life as an actor and director, his love of climbing, his 11-hour Hobbitathon, the inspiration behind Gollum’s voice and why he supports Best Beginnings.
